MG Retails Private Limited is an initiative of Mari Gold Exports Inc. (having more than 35 years
experience), and a leading garment manufacturer & exporter of ready to wear garments for men, women
and kids to leading retail chain exports across the globe. The other promoters of the Company are
experts with drive, experience and insights in areas such as business analysis, trend forecasting,
marketing specially e-commerce, finance & taxation and direct selling industry etc....
The company has been established with the objective of making available, quality luxury
products to consumers at affordable rates, by using a mix of conventional and traditional mode
of marketing, such as, establishment of retail stores on Pan India basis, selling the products
through e-commerce platform and e market place and direct sales through network marketing,
wherein, the consumer of product itself would be empowered to become a collaborator for
promotion and sale of products to other end users and share the savings made by the company in
marketing and advertising costs, as his or her rightful entitlement and share in proceeds of
the sale for his efforts in advocacy and promotion of the products of the company.
The emphasis of the Company is on quality control through ensuring that the procurement and
production of finished product go through stringent testing and checks for quality and meet
exacting QA standards as per established industry norms. The other motto of the company is to
make available these products to end users at affordable rates. To ensure reasonability of cost
of product to end users, the Company would strive to incur minimum expenditure on advertising
and publicity through conventional modes of mass communication, and is instead banking on word
of mouth publicity and interpersonal communication, with the belief that quality and pricing of
the products, would induce and spur end users and collaborators, to successfully build and
establish the Company, brand identity and image in short span of time.
To minimize cost in advertising and publicity, we at, MG Retails Private Limited have adopted
Direct Sales through network marketing as one of its primary mode for marketing products of
the Company. Direct Selling Industry is poised for take off in the country. As per FICCI-KPMG
reports published by December 2015, India's Direct Selling Industry may reach Rs.645 billion
by 2025. Ministry of Commerce and Industry, GOI recognizing the importance of direct selling
for its role in empowering women, MSME and promoting manufacturing in India, have also decided
to give a greater thrust to Direct Selling. Keeping this and the potential of Direct Selling in
mitigating the consequences of unemployment, and in order to provide a regulatory framework, so
that interest of all stakeholders are safeguarded and no one is duped by unscrupulous element
in the industry, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution have brought out model
guidelines for direct selling entities in September,2016. We are pleased to inform that MG Retails Pvt. Ltd. is fully compliant with the guidelines and other mandatory requirement of
Direct selling ventures.
To begin with, the company proposes to launch two brands. 'Muda' for fashion garments, formal
suits, shoes and accessories for men, 'Rinoto' for fashionable sunglasses and optical
accessories. 'Sapnis' , the brand for cosmetics and personnel care products. By the end of
2019, the Company would be launching products for women and kids under its own brand.
